Will Standard Chartered’s move on Ripple boost the XRP price? Santiment’s assessmen

Standard Chartered, one of the world’s largest banks, announced yesterday that it has launched institutional custody services for Ripple’s stablecoin $RLUSD through its Dubai International Financial Centre branch.

This situation has also increased enthusiasm for $XRP, and the on-chain analysis platform Santiment has evaluated the $RLUSD news and its potential impact on the $XRP price.

At this point, Santiment noted that the growth of Ripple’s stablecoin $RLUSD does not automatically translate to a price increase for $XRP. According to Santiment, the real determining factor is not the stablecoin’s market capitalization, but rather the extent to which the $XRP Ledger network is used by financial institutions.

$RLUSD Grows While $XRP Declines!

In its latest analysis, Santiment noted that while $RLUSD’s market capitalization increased, $XRP fell, indicating that the two assets did not move in tandem. According to Santiment, this pattern shows that there is no direct correlation between the growth and price movements of the two assets.

The increasing adoption of $RLUSD alone does not guarantee a rise in demand for $XRP. The fact that the stablecoin can be used on different blockchains, and that financial institutions can use $RLUSD for payments or collateral without directly purchasing $XRP, are the main reasons for this divergence

$GRVT KuCoin has launched MemeFi, a new market structure that allows memecoins to pair directly with tokenized stocks like Nvidia and GameStop. This innovative approach enables 24/7 trading and creates unique dual-beta exposure for traders. The announcement, shared by KuCoin on Twitter, signals a potential shift in trading dynamics and could attract a wider audience to the tokenized asset market.

What Went Down

The broader crypto market is experiencing mixed signals, yet KuCoin’s introduction of MemeFi stands out as a significant development. By allowing memecoins to act as settlement assets in trading tokenized stocks, KuCoin aims to create a more dynamic trading environment. As traders explore the implications of this new structure, market sentiment may shift significantly.

$GRVT A US federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration from using taxpayer funds to finance television advertisements promoting President Donald Trump, following widespread criticism and legal challenges over their political messaging ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.US District Judge Jennifer Rochon, based in Manhattan, issued the ruling on Sunday after government watchdog Common Cause and other plaintiffs filed a lawsuit accusing the administration of misusing public money for political purposes. The controversial advertisements began airing in late September and featured messaging praising Trump. Critics argued that the commercials were designed to boost Republican candidates rather than provide legitimate public service information, triggering bipartisan concerns about government spending and political propaganda.Court documents filed Saturday indicated that the Trump administration had already planned to discontinue taxpayer funding for the advertisements before the judge issued her temporary order.Common Cause President and CEO Virginia Kase Solomón welcomed the decision, emphasizing the importance of preventing government resources from being used to advance partisan political interests. The watchdog organization pledged to continue pursuing accountability and safeguards against future misuse of taxpayer money by any presidential administration.Trump previously defended the advertisements, describing them as a "positive promotion for our great U.S.A." However, he confirmed Monday that public funds would no longer support the campaign. The White House subsequently announced that Trump's political action committee, MAGA PAC, would assume responsibility for financing the advertisements moving forward. However, administration officials clarified that the political committee would not reimburse taxpayers for advertisements
