$GRVT $NFT sales reached $39.85 million over the seven days to Oct. 10, up 0.90% from the previous week, as Ethereum retained its blockchain lead and Pudgy Penguins sales more than doubled.

According to data from CryptoSlam, weekly $NFT sales totaled $39,853,744 in its seven-day dashboard checked on Oct. 10.

The tracker recorded 30,332 buyer addresses, down 85.33%, and 30,598 seller addresses, down 84.45%. Transactions fell to 778,055, a 6.92% decline from the previous seven-day period.

The small increase in dollar sales came alongside much larger declines in participating addresses. Based on the dashboard totals, the average recorded transaction value was about $51.22.

Separately, CoinGecko listed Bitcoin near $82,768 and Ethereum around $2,494 on Oct. 10, with total cryptocurrency market capitalization at approximately $2.89 trillion.

Ethereum leads $NFT sales with $17.60 million

CryptoSlam ranked Ethereum first with $17,604,074 in seven-day sales, an increase of 4.52%. The network accounted for approximately 44.2% of the global $NFT sales total.

Ethereum recorded 4,254 buyer addresses, down 85.84%. Its separately tracked wash-trading volume reached $1.15 million, up 12.45%, bringing combined sales and wash volume to $18.76 million.

Polygon held second place with $8,622,071 in sales, up 5.76%. Buyer addresses declined 78.88% to 10,055.

The dashboard also identified $19.03 million in Polygon wash trading, down 17.86%. That category represented 68.81% of the network’s combined $27.65 million volume and remained separate from its ranked sales figure.

Bitcoin followed in third place with $3,547,457 in sales, down 7.33%. Its buyer count dropped 88.02% to 1,243, while wash volume declined 2.42% to $80,297.

$GRVT In a recent X post, former Ripple product lead and cofounder of t54ai, Chandler Fang noted that agentic payments on the $XRP Ledger are accelerating faster than most expected.

Fang highlighted a jump from roughly 1 million transactions in July to more than 13 million currently to support his claim. The former Ripple product lead engaged with a post from RippleX head of engineering J.A. Akinyele, which foresees a bigger future ahead for XRPL agentic payments.

Citing his earlier prediction that agentic payments would cross 10 million, Akinyele stated that this has been surpassed as XRPL has now processed over 13 million transactions with more than 160 x402 merchants.

According to current data at the time of writing, 13,489,468 agentic transactions were processed through 168 registered x402 merchants settled through 6,982.32 $XRP and 12,009.98 $RLUSD. In line with this growth trend, Akinyele predicts that 100 million agentic transactions might actually come sooner than expected for the XRPL.

Along these lines, Fang pictures the next phase for agentic payments with the 13 million milestone now surpassed. According to Fang, the next phase of growth will bring more real-world merchants and services onchain, with agents paying in $XRP and $RLUSD and settling on XRPL through its x402 facilitator.

What's next?

Agents are already paying for APIs, data, and compute with a growing AI toolkit intended to give developers the tools to turn that demand into new products.

At the $XRP Seoul 2026 event, which was held last weekend on October 3, J.A. Akinyele, RippleX head of engineering, spoke in a keynote address on paving the way for the AI Agent Economy.

This comes as AI agents continue to drive massive network volume; Akinyele said in his most recent post that agentic payments currently account for about 25% of activity on the $XRP Ledger.

$GRVT Prediction Markets See a Blue Wave Brewing in Washington

After years of lobbying, millions spent on political campaigns and countless negotiations over cryptocurrency legislation, the industry could find itself back at square one. With November’s midterm elections approaching, prediction markets increasingly favor Democrats taking control of both chambers of Congress, potentially handing the party considerable influence over the next chapter of federal digital asset regulation.

On Oct. 10, the prediction marketplace Polymarket’s Balance of Power market assigned a 62% probability to Democrats capturing both the House and Senate, with more than $21.2 million in trading volume at press time. A Republican Senate paired with a Democratic House carried 30% odds, while a Republican sweep stood at just 9%. The reverse arrangement, a Democratic Senate and Republican House, registered 1%, and other outcomes accounted for less than 1%.

Kalshi’s competing market paints almost the same picture. With approximately $35.87 million traded, its contracts give Democrats a 61% chance of sweeping Congress, compared with 29% for a Democratic House and Republican Senate. A Republican sweep commands 11%, while a Republican House and Democratic Senate stands at just 0.9%.

The individual chamber markets offer another revealing look at the political arithmetic. Polymarket gives Democrats a commanding 91% chance of controlling the House, with Republicans at 10%, and projects a 234-201 Democratic majority. Its separate “Blue Wave in 2026” contract carries 87% odds, suggesting traders anticipate considerable Democratic gains.

The Senate remains a tighter contest. Polymarket gives Democrats 63% odds against Republicans’ 38%, with approximately $6.23 million traded and a projected 52-48 Democratic majori
