#Claim1,200 USDT in the Monthly Creation Challenge Crypto fund issuer 21Shares has launched the first spot Polkadot ETF in the United States. The fund, trading under the ticker TDOT, is now available on NASDAQ.
Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted that the ETF launched with initial capital of $11 million and carries a management fee of 0.3%.
Spot cryptocurrency ETFs allow investors to gain exposure to the price movements of digital assets without holding the underlying tokens directly. According to 21Shares, “Polkadot is a next-generation blockchain platform designed to connect multiple independent blockchains into a single, interoperable network. Developers can launch their own blockchains on Polkadot, benefiting from the network’s security and scalability.”
As of recent data from The Block, Polkadot’s native token DOT is trading around $1.47, with a market capitalization of roughly $1.7 billion.
In addition to Polkadot, 21Shares offers spot ETFs tracking Bitcoin and other altcoins such as XRP, Sui, Solana, and Dogecoin. The company reports that its XRP ETF is the most popular altcoin fund, with assets under management totaling $174 million.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reached a settlement with Tron and founder Justin Sun on Thursday, the SEC said in a court filing.

Under the terms of the settlement, Rainberry Inc., one of the companies associated with the Tron network, will pay a $10 million fine and be barred from future violations of securities regulations. The SEC sued Sun and Tron in 2023, alleging violation of federal securities laws through the sale and airdropping of Tron (TRX) and BitTorrent (BTT) tokens.

Apart from the SEC's accusations that Tron was dealing in unregistered securities, the regulator had also alleged the defendants "fraudulently manipulat[ed]" TRX's secondary market through an "extensive wash trading" scheme. In the agency's rush to drop its earlier crypto registration cases, it kept pursuing those that were associated with deeper accusations.

"The remaining claims against Rainberry would be dismissed with prejudice," the filing said. "The Final Judgment would also dismiss all claims against Justin Sun, Tron Foundation, and BitTorrent Foundation."

Florida has become the first state in the US to pass a stablecoin regulation Bill via the Senate.

The Bill is now waiting to be signed off by the state’s Governor for it to be considered official legislation.

The development comes amid delays in implementing the CLARITY Act.

On March 6, the Florida Senate unanimously passed Bill 314, which details comprehensive regulations regarding payment stablecoins. The pro-crypto state is the first in the US to develop such a framework, which now awaits signing into law by Governor Ron DeSan

Florida’s framework borrows greatly from the nation’s GENIUS Act to remain federally compliant.

The Bill clarifies that stablecoins are not securities, but that their monetary value makes their issuers Money Services Businesses. This part of the Bill is similar to the specifications made by Texas and New York regarding stablecoins.

Issuers are therefore required to obtain operational licenses, such as the state MSB license or certain certificates of approval, in line with anti-money laundering provisions.
