$ARB is up around 26% this month, and Arbitrum added roughly $127M to its stablecoin market cap in the past 24 hours.

More stablecoin liquidity could support DeFi activity, but it doesn’t automatically mean more demand for ARB.

The network story is growing. Will the token follow?

XRP Technical Outlook: XRP Faces Resistance Near $1.45 as Recovery Momentum Weakens

📊 EMA Structure

* 20 EMA: $1.4471
* 50 EMA: $1.3989
* 100 EMA: $1.3389
* 200 EMA: $1.3799

XRP is trading below the 20 EMA but remains around the 50 EMA and above the 100 and 200 EMAs. This indicates short-term weakness while the recent recovery structure is still being tested.

A sustained move above the 20 EMA near $1.4471 would help restore bullish momentum. Losing the 50 EMA could expose XRP to the lower support zones.

📐 Key Price Levels

Based on your chart:

* Immediate resistance: $1.4475
* Major resistance: $1.5204
* Support: $1.3989–$1.4008
* Lower support: $1.3799
* Recent low support: $1.3590
* 100 EMA support: $1.3389

The immediate challenge is reclaiming the $1.4475 resistance level. A breakout above $1.5204 would provide stronger confirmation that buyers are regaining control.

🚀 Bullish Scenario

If XRP holds above $1.3989–$1.4008 and reclaims the recent local highs, buyers could attempt another move toward:

🎯 $1.4475
🎯 $1.5204
🎯 $1.80–$1.82
🎯 $1.98
🎯 $2.15–$2.16
🎯 $2.38–$2.40

A decisive breakout above $1.5204 would improve the recovery outlook and could open the path toward the $1.80 region. However, XRP would need to overcome several major resistance zones before reaching the higher targets.

🔄 Pullback Scenario

If XRP fails to reclaim $1.4475 and loses the $1.3989 support area, watch these downside levels:

$GRVT Immutable ($IMX) extended its bullish recovery by recording gains worth 10% over the last 24 hours. These daily gains came just two days after it bounced from a key EMA support near $0.16.

On the daily charts, the token soon stabilized above $0.20, strengthening the case for a potential move towards the $0.30-resistance level. The network’s rising price volatility and a shift to positive funding rates all hinted at renewed activity in the derivatives market too.

Hence, the question: Can buyers sustain the recovery and push $IMX towards $0.30 or will rising volatility trigger another reversal?

Volatility, Funding Rates signal renewed activity

Besides the positive technicals , $IMX’s market activity has been picking up too. The sharp hike in price volatility to 0.04 over the same period suggested that network’s traders and investors may be reacting more aggressively to changing market conditions.

While higher volatility can accompany strong breakouts as seen during previous episodes, this time it could also increase the risk of sudden price swings.

Meanwhile, $IMX’s funding rate also recorded a week of positive gains.

This further indicated that long-position holders have been paying shorts to maintain their perpetual futures exposure.

Can Bulls drive $IMX towards $0.30?

At the time of writing, the next key target for network bulls stood at the $0.30 swing high. Especially if buyers maintain control above $0.20. The presence of several unmitigated liquidity clusters totaling more than $22.15 million above the press time price affirmed the bias and highlighted the resistance level as the next key target.

Sustained buying pressure and positive funding could support further gains, particularly if broader market conditions remain favorable. However, it’s also worth noting that a failure to hold above $0.20 could weaken the recovery and exp

What if the biggest crypto winners by 2030 aren't the coins everyone is watching today? Standard Chartered's Geoffrey Kendrick believes tokenization and stablecoins could change which altcoins lead the market.

Let's break down his top picks — and why they matter.

For years, altcoins mostly followed speculation. Now some protocols are generating real fees, and Kendrick expects Bitcoin ( $BTC ) dominance to gradually decline as adoption grows.

Arbitrum (ARB)
Arbitrum could become a major winner as financial companies move on-chain. Robinhood already uses its technology, and Kendrick believes more firms could follow. If four, five or even ten companies adopt it, network activity and fees could grow significantly.

Chainlink (  $LINK   )
LINK plays a different role. It connects blockchains and brings reliable real-world data on-chain. As banks tokenize more assets, Kendrick expects demand for trusted infrastructure to increase.

Ethereum (  $ETH )
Ethereum remains central to his outlook. Kendrick expects most stablecoin and tokenization activity to happen on Ethereum, potentially helping ETH outperform Bitcoin over time.

Here are 3 more altcoins worth watching 👇
🔷 1. Uniswap (UNI): Growing Burns
Uniswap's token buybacks and burns have already accelerated faster than Kendrick expected. More activity could support this trend.

🔷 2. Aave (AAVE): On-Chain Lending
Aave could benefit as tokenized assets create more demand for decentralized borrowing and lending.

🔷 3. Morpho (MORPHO): Lending Growth
Morpho is another project Kendrick sees benefiting as traditional financial activity moves onto blockchain networks.

Recent Statements Reinforce Garlinghouse’s $XRP Conviction

$XRP’s role in payments and corporate treasuries has developed alongside repeated expressions of confidence from Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse throughout 2026. Interviews, community events, and anniversary messages have emphasized utility, institutional participation, and long-term prospects, while new treasury tools and an October merger milestone have extended the asset’s financial applications.

Garlinghouse endorsed $XRP Ledger’s performance and prospects during an $XRP Las Vegas appearance discussed in May. He said $XRP stands out for its speed, low costs, scalability, and operating history. He stated:

“You have something special and unique that is poised for great success in the years ahead.”

His public support continued into June, when $XRP’s 14th anniversary prompted a message celebrating the $XRP community. Garlinghouse described being part of the $XRP family as the honor of a lifetime. That message followed his February strategy comments and May assessment of the ecosystem’s prospects.

In February, he connected Ripple’s various businesses with its $XRP objectives. The executive said that $XRP is Ripple’s North Star and linked payments, prime brokerage, treasury, custody, and its stablecoin to efforts to increase utility, trust, and liquidity around $XRP and the $XRP Ledger.

$GRVT Papertrade drew a report of roughly $3 billion in open interest within its first hour of trading on Oct. 10, bringing leveraged positions to its HyperEVM exchange where traders’ losses fund payments to winners. Josh Ong reported the figure at 10:51 a.m. ET, following the venue’s scheduled 10 a.m. opening. The total remains a reported figure, rather than an independently verified onchain measurement.

DefiLlama recorded $137.1 million in total value locked at 10:08 a.m. ET. Its methodology combines customers’ trading balances with the protocol-owned pool that takes the other side of positions. That total is therefore not a reserve available entirely to pay winners, nor is it directly comparable with the notional value of leveraged positions.

For winning traders, the distinction affects when profits become available. Papertrade administrator @izebel_eth has explained that collateral does not enter the house pool—only losses do. If a winning position closes while a payout queue exists, the trader’s original collateral becomes available again, but profits join the queue. The current house-pool balance and whether unpaid profits had accumulated could not be established.

The venue offers up to 1000x leverage. DefiLlama describes its products as synthetic bitcoin and ether perpetuals priced using the midpoint of Hyperliquid’s best bid and offer, with Papertrade’s own pool as counterparty. Open interest describes outstanding position exposure, not deposits or realized profits owed to traders.

The launch moves Papertrade beyond the predeposit stage covered in The Defiant’s earlier reporting, which recorded about $85.3 million deposited ahead of trading. The later TVL reading includes both trader balances and house liquidity; it does not establish how much the house has earned from losses.
