The institutional demand around Bitcoin strengthened as Morgan Stanley expanded MSBT holdings while ETF inflows remained positive.

Reportedly, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT Bitcoin ETF received another 51.58 $BTC, valued at around $4 million, from Coinbase Prime.

Notably, the latest transaction followed a series of transfers into the fund for the previous two weeks. Across these transfers, MSBT has now received a total of 641.87 $BTC, worth roughly $50.6 million.

Multiple independent posts from Aptos-focused accounts on X highlight a significant scheduled unlock on 12 September 2026:

An analyst noted that around 11.3 million $APT tokens were released to core contributors on September 12 in a major token unlock event. This is framed explicitly as a new tranche entering circulation for insiders and contributors, not ordinary community rewards.

Another trader described 12 September as the final Investor/Contributor unlock, saying investor allocations are now fully vested, implying that the vesting program that has regularly released tokens on the 12th has just completed.

A Vietnamese language market update mentioned APT trading around $0.61–0.64, highlighting the launch of a “Confidential APT” feature on mainnet, but then stressing that there is an unlock of roughly $6.4 million of APT on 12 September, which it describes as meaningful short-term selling pressure.

Using the more specific 11.3 million figure and the ~$0.62 trading range from these posts, the unlock corresponds to roughly 11.3 million × $0.62 ≈ $7.01 million of new tokens. That is a non-trivial amount of fresh supply relative to APT’s average daily spot volume and market cap, so it is entirely plausible for it to move price a few percentage points as recipients sell or traders front run expected selling.

In a recent report, AMBCrypto highlighted the range formation around Ethereum. This range appeared to have been convincingly broken, but a few hours after the breakout, the price retraced right back into the range.

The price action and the large short liquidations meant that the breakout was likely a move to hunt down liquidity.



Trader Morin broke down the potential “trap” ahead. Simply put, the idea is to trap as many people as possible before the real move, which in this case would likely be downward toward $2,100.

A breakdown below the $2,380 range low would be a clear signal of bearish dominance. Until then, traders can trim short their bullish expectations, since the breakout has failed to hold.

Chinese Founder Warns About Bitcoin: “Significant Price Movement May Be On the Way”
Jiang Zhuoer, founder of the B.TOP mining pool, stated in his assessment of Bitcoin’s short-term price movements that a significant correction could occur after the liquidation of highly leveraged positions in the market.

According to Zhuoer, in the most likely scenario, Bitcoin will first clear the intense liquidation zone above $76,000. During the same period, Ethereum is also expected to test the liquidation zone around $2,665, liquidating a significant portion of short positions at higher levels.

After Bitcoin cleared liquidity above $76,000, Zhuoer noted that two different scenarios emerged.

In the first scenario, Zhuoer states that if Bitcoin recovers without falling below $75,000, the rally could continue up to $80,000, and he believes the price could even test the strong resistance zone between $83,000 and $84,000. However, according to the analyst, a larger correction could follow such a rise.

In the second scenario, if Bitcoin loses the $75,000 support level, a deeper correction is expected to occur, mirroring the upward movement that began from $64,000. Zhuoer predicts that in this case, Bitcoin could fall to the $70,000-$72,000 region before entering the next phase of the bull market.

Zhuoer added that the expected vote on the bill next week, along with developments from the Fed, will be important catalysts that could determine the direction of the market.

Due to this uncertainty, Zhuoer explained that he is pursuing a more balanced strategy against market direction, holding a full short position in Bitcoin and a full spot position in Ethereum.
