Nine weeks in the making, the Bitcoin bear flag may now have broken down, and Bitcoin could be on the way to $70,000 or perhaps even lower. Is there any hope left, or is the bear market about to clamp its icy tendrils around the crypto sector?

A plunge out of the bear flag (purple lines) and down to $86,000 could be the beginning of the next leg down for the $BTC price. There was a bounce from $86,000, but the chances are that this might only take the price back to the bottom of the bear flag in order to confirm the breakdown.

As can be seen in the short-term chart above, the price fell out of a small bear pennant, and once it had broken down through $88,000, downward acceleration rapidly took the price to the $86,000 local bottom.

On the downside, a break below $86,000 may delay recovery and expose $84,300, without breaking the broader bullish structure.
Overall, Bitcoin appears to be consolidating, not topping. Combined with strong long-term conviction from market leaders and a developing technical base, this phase may represent a healthy reset before the next expansion. Dogecoin has a diminished inflation rate as it has a fixed yearly issuance of five billion coins. This annual issuance is needed to pay miners and keep the network secure. The implication of this is that each year, the rate of inflation drops compared to the total supply. Developers say this feature makes Dogecoin the perfect candidate to be used as a currency.

Dogecoin is not meant to be hoarded, as hoarding is a major barrier to a cryptocurrency being used as an actual currency. This set path implies that there is no need for Dogecoin burning, unlike other cryptocurrencies.

Dogecoin’s supply is also not unlimited, as it has an absolute limit of issuance per block, per day, per year. The only difference between Dogecoin’s issuance and other coins is that it does not have an end date. Therefore, Dogecoin is only "infinite" over "infinite time."
