该提案通过将未来 180 天内的 $SKY 代币分配量设定为约 8.3818 亿枚，使所谓的 $SKY 质押发行量“正常化”，较之前的计划减少了约 1.6182 亿枚。较低的发行量可以降低稀释压力，而稀释压力是交易员在评估治理代币时经常密切关注的因素。

与此同时，该协议一直在通过一项由 USDS 资助的自动回购计划稳步回购其代币。根据 Sky 的仪表盘显示，该系统迄今已花费约 1.145 亿美元回购了约 18.3 亿枚 $SKY 代币。

On-chain data suggests there is sparse supply resistance between the $72,000 and $81,000 levels.

Analyst Ali Martinez projects that the price could extend toward $84,000 if buying pressure persists.

Optimism is sweeping the crypto market as Bitcoin leads a rally that has taken it above $73,000, a figure the asset had not reached since early February. The pioneer cryptocurrency’s price action marks a notable recovery that, according to experts, has solid fundamentals to continue its upward trajectory in the short term.

The momentum stemmed from the massive accumulation by spot Bitcoin ETFs, which absorbed nearly $776 million last week. Consequently, institutional demand continues to outpace available supply, providing critical support for the price to remain stable at high levels.

In this regard, Ali Martinez revealed that on-chain data paints a favorable setup for bulls. By crossing the $72,000 technical barrier, Bitcoin has entered a low-resistance density zone, which will allow for a more fluid advance toward new targets.

Key Factors Behind the Low On-Chain Resistance

Through the analysis of the Unrealized Price Distribution (URPD), it is evident that the largest cluster of resistance was near $70,685. Having overcome this hurdle, the path to $81,000 appears clear, as there are few historically established sell levels within that range.

Furthermore, the pace of ETF inflows shows no signs of exhaustion, already totaling $789 million in just the first few days of March. This constant flow of fresh capital acts as an engine driving the asset’s technical structure toward a major expansion.

Rentokil surged 7.10% to £455.70 after releasing its latest financial results. 

Gambling group Entain rose 6.09% to £613.40 even as it reported a loss due to new UK gambling tax rules. Meanwhile, Mondi rose by 1.90% to £859 through the support of stable demand in the packaging sector.

Insurance company Admiral Group climbed 1.68% to £2,908. It reported strong profit growth and outlined its strategy to expand into digital commercial insurance services. 

Energy companies are benefiting from higher oil prices due to supply concerns arising from the Middle East conflict. BP gained 1.53% to £488.60

Decliners: Mining and Defensive Stocks Weigh on Index

On the downside, the mining sector dragged the index lower. Rio Tinto declined 3.77% to £6,919,  Endeavour Mining backed 2.19% to £4,742, and Anglo American dipped 2.36% to £3,435.

Games Workshop slipped 0.92% to £17,180, while pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca edged down 0.57% to £15,002. 

Consumer goods company Reckitt Benckiser also declined 1.39% to £5,966, reflecting cautious investor sentiment.

The weakness across mining stocks came as oil prices rose, with Brent crude climbing around 2% to $83 per barrel.

This reinforces the pro-crypto narrative that Bitcoin will be a future dominant player in global finance, analysts say. New research conducted by the Bitcoin Policy Institute shows that AI models prefer the top crypto to other means of exchange across several criteria. A total of 36 models were deployed for the study, including Claude, GPT, Gemini, and Grok.Twenty-two models backed BTC while others picked stablecoins, but none preferred fiat currencies. Crypto payments looked the most likely option given the absence of centralized institutions and the freedom they offer holders as a store of value.  In particular, stablecoins became popular among institutional investors to address bottlenecks in cross-border payments. The models were tested on the core functions of currency, such as saving, settlement, and payments.The survey drew 9,072 controlled experiments, and 48.3% picked Bitcoin across these tests. Per the study, models made real-case decisions without hidden bias. For purchasing power on a year-to-year basis, 1,794 chose Bitcoin, while stablecoins ranked second. “In scenarios about preserving purchasing power over multi-year horizons, 1,794 of 2,268 responses chose Bitcoin, the single most lopsided result in the study. This held across all six providers and all 36 models. Stablecoins placed a distant second at 6.7%, followed by fiat at 6.0%. Other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum fared even worse at just 4.2% models overwhelmingly distinguished Bitcoin from the broader crypto category.”This was expected by several analysts because the top crypto is used as a store of value, unlike other assets.
