$GRVT Nvidia stock fell 2.94% Thursday after OpenAI told investors its annualized revenue is roughly $50 billion, about $18 billion below the $68 billion widely reported last month.

Alex Kantrowitz, founder of Big Technology, called the gap largely an accounting issue on CNBC’s Closing Bell. Nvidia still closed at $230.48, about 5% below its Tuesday record high of $243.37.

Why Is Nvidia Stock Taking the Hit for OpenAI’s Number?

Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) have each signed multibillion-dollar partnerships with OpenAI. Therefore, both chipmakers carry direct exposure to its growth.

AMD slid 3.9% the same day. Oracle fell more than 5% in an OpenAI-linked stock crash.

Kantrowitz noted that both stocks have mostly performed well this year. Yahoo Finance data shows Nvidia up about 24%, with a market value near $5.6 trillion.

Still, the fundamentals remain strong. Nvidia posted $96.22 billion in revenue last quarter, beating the $92.16 billion estimate, Google Finance data shows.

However, Kantrowitz sees skittishness around the AI trade. He said some companies have shifted part of their spending to standard models rather than frontier ones.

Can Nvidia Hold If OpenAI or Anthropic Stumbles?

Kantrowitz said market breadth is weak, with the top seven stocks outpacing the other 493 in the S&P 500.

Meanwhile, a Closing Bell host put the tech trade at more than 40% of the market. Kantrowitz agreed the broader market hinges on OpenAI and Anthropic.

In contrast, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives named Nvidia among his top five tech picks for 2027. He argued investors underestimate a $4 trillion AI spending wave.

Kantrowitz expects Anthropic’s initial public offering (IPO) within weeks, most likely, and OpenAI’s next year. The ma

$GRVT The frontier between decentralized finance and traditional stock markets is blurring at an accelerating pace. Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, stands as the dominant alpha in the tokenized equities sector, channeling billions of institutional dollars into alternative cryptographic rails.

This is far from a mere technical novelty; rather, it represents a structural transformation in corporate capital access. Global investors are actively seeking direct exposure to vehicles tied to sovereign-grade Bitcoin reserves—trading well outside standard New York stock exchange hours while eliminating legacy intermediation friction.

On-Chain Dominance and Liquidity Concentration Breakdown

As of October 8, four of the top ten synthetic assets tracked by CoinGecko correspond to the firm’s equity and debt instruments. STRCx leads the ranking at $158.8 million, flanked by MSTRx at $119.1 million, assembling a combined basket that hovers near all-time records for the sector.

Factoring in the STRCon ($74.8 million) and MSTRb ($60.4 million) variants, the firm commands $413.1 million, representing 42.5% of the aggregate market capitalization across the top ten. This volume relegates high-profile instruments from private unicorns like SpaceX and Circle to secondary tiers within on-chain order books.

Accounting for all on-chain issuers, the company’s aggregate tokenized footprint reaches $91 million, split evenly between common equity and preferred shares. Legacy tech giants such as NVIDIA, Tesla, or Alphabet reflect substantially lower figures across their respective tokenized versions during this cycle.

Reserve Backing and Underlying Asset Performance

$GRVT The UK government under new prime minister Andy Burnham is preparing a comprehensive package of sanctions on trade with Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria. Critics of the move within Burnham’s Labour Party say that it could lead to a de facto boycott of Israel in general, "The Times" reports in its lead story today.Last week, the UK joined sharp statements of condemnation from European governments of the Israeli government’s approval of plans to expand settlement in Judea and Samaria. The foreign secretary, Ed Miliband, said in a statement that implementation of the plan to build on the area known as E1, northeast of Jerusalem, "would cut across the heart of Palestine and risks separating the West Bank from East Jerusalem, which would endanger the viability of a two-state solution." According to the report in "The Times", Burnham will announce "robust" sanctions on trade with Israeli settlements in the territories.Such measures have already been taken by Spain and the Netherlands, and are being considered by other European countries. The Netherlands adopted a particularly strict law not only banning imports of goods from Israeli settlements but also forbidding their sale and purchase, making that an offence that could result in a prison sentence of up to six years. The Dutch law will come into effect on September 22. Meanwhile, Israel’s minister of foreign affairs, Gideon Sa’ar, has ordered that the expulsion of representatives of the Netherlands from the International Support Center for Gaza in Kiryat Gat.In the UK, besides sanctions on settlements, the prime minister is also considering personal sanctions on leading figures in the settlement movement. Within the Labour Party and outside it, Burnham has been warned that the sanctions being drafted will have consequences that are too broad, as it will be difficult to distinguish between

Stacks' STX, a Bitcoin layer-2 token, has surged by 50% in four weeks. While major cryptocurrencies remain choppy, $STX, the native token of the Bitcoin layer-2 project Stacks, is rallying. The cryptocurrency has surged nearly 10% in 24 hours, 14% over the past week and more than 50% in four weeks, outperforming bitcoin $BTC$83,696.96, ether ETH$2,499.57, $XRP ($XRP) and other cryptocurrencies.

The outperformance likely reflects investor interest in Stacks’ non-custodial bitcoin staking architecture. This framework lets $BTC holders stake and earn yield directly on the main Bitcoin blockchain while retaining strict control of their private keys. In contrast, traditional frameworks require users to wrap their assets into synthetic tokens (like wBTC) or move funds over cross-chain bridges to earn additional yield.

Stacks’ framework relies on a mechanism called "bonding," which requires participants to lock up assets to secure the network. The "Bonding Period 3,” due in November, requires participants holding native $STX to lock a specific ratio of $STX alongside their $BTC — equivalent to roughly 5% of the total value of their $BTC — to successfully secure protocol stacking capacity.

This creates a positive feedback loop for $STX: As more $BTC moves into the Stacks ecosystem, a larger portion of $STX is systematically locked up and removed from the active market. By tying bitcoin liquidity directly to $STX scarcity, the architecture skews demand-supply dynamics heavily in favor of long-term price appreciation.

Period 3 follows Periods 1 and 2, which served as preparatory phases to safely transition signers and bootstrap initial liquidity.
