Anthropic is suing the U.S. government for allegedly blacklisting its Al Anthropic just picked a fight with its biggest potential customer. The Al company behind Claude filed a lawsuit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California naming the Departments of Treasury, Commerce, State, Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, the General Services Administration, and several other federal agencies as defendants. Anthropic says the U.S. government effectively blacklisted its Al systems from federal procurement and did it without following any of the legal procedures required to actually ban a vendor. It says there was a lack of formal determination, interagency review, documented evidence, and no evaluation of less restrictive alternatives like conditional approval or security audits. According to the complaint, officials justified the restrictions internally on national security and supply-chain grounds, then let the directive spread informally through centralized procurement channels until Anthropic was locked out of federal contracting across the board. Bhutan has quietly reduced its bitcoin holdings in recent months, with government-linked transfers exceeding $40 million so far this year, according to blockchain analytics data.

The sales come as the Himalayan nation continues to manage one of the world's most unusual sovereign crypto reserves, built primarily through state-backed bitcoin mining powered by surplus hydropower.

Data from Arkham Intelligence shows that the Royal Government of Bhutan moved 175 BTC worth approximately $11.85 million late on Monday.

BlackRock adds over $100m in Bitcoin as BTC hits $71k

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) opened this week on Monday with a net cash inflow as Bitcoin ($BTC) price rebounded above $71,000 on Tuesday, March 10.

The IBIT, which has more than $53.2 billion in net assets under management (AUM), recorded a net cash inflow of about $109.31 million on Monday. As such, the IBIT has now reached a cumulative net inflow of over $62.58 billion at press time.

The renewed demand for $BTC by BlackRock, which has more than $11 trillion in AUM, helped the flagship coin rally 3.61% in the last 24 hours to trade about $71,410 at the time of this publication.

BlackRock’s IBIT heavily dominated the net cash inflows of spot $BTC Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) on Monday, based on data from SoSoValue. The net cash inflow to the U.S. spot $BTC ETFs was about $167.03 million, whereby Fidelity’s FBTC posted around $60.09 million on Monday.

As such, the total net assets of the U.S. spot $BTC ETFs surged to $88.34 billion.

Polymarket taps Peter Thiel-backed Palantir to develop sports betting Al monitoring tool Polymarket is working with Palantir Technologies, the controversial Al-driven U.S. data analytics firm, to develop a sports integrity platform for Polymarket's growing sports prediction markets.
