Strategy Founder Michael Saylor Unveiled His New Theory on Bitcoin

Strategy chairman Michael Saylor shared what he describes as a “digital credit theory,” a new financial approach based on Bitcoin (BTC).

According to Saylor, the model is based on creating a pool of appreciating capital through Bitcoin and issuing loans using these assets as collateral.

Saylor stated that the first step of the model is to create a capital pool that appreciates in value, and suggested using Bitcoin for this purpose. Once this capital pool is created, he explained, the company could issue loans that are overcollateralized by its equity base. He added that this loan structure could be provided through one of the company’s products, a financial instrument called STRC.

In the third phase of the model, Saylor stated that a portion of the increase in Bitcoin’s value could be converted into cash and used for dividend financing, adding that this could be done through direct sales or derivative instruments. He argued that company shares and derivative markets could also play a role in this process.

According to Saylor, this structure creates different risk and return profiles between loan investors and equity investors. Saylor argues that loan investors achieve more stable cash flow and relatively low volatility, while equity investors gain stronger performance potential in exchange for higher volatility.

At a time when global headlines are dominated by rising tensions in the Gulf, oil prices climbing toward $100, financial markets are facing growing uncertainty.

Amid this uncertainty, India is also taking steps to strengthen its digital asset framework. In a recent Parliament session, MP Raghav Chadha introduced the Asset Tokenisation (Regulation) Bill 2026.

Key feature of the Asset Tokenisation (Regulation) Bill

The proposal aims to create a legal structure for tokenising real-world assets such as property, commodities, and financial instruments on blockchain networks.

If implemented, it could help move India’s crypto ecosystem beyond pure trading toward a more regulated and institutional form of digital finance.

At its core, the Bill would give legal recognition to tokenisation, treating tokens almost like digital title deeds linked to real assets.

This means the law would cover the entire process, from issuing tokens and trading them in markets to securely holding them and completing final transactions.

By placing these activities under proper regulatory oversight, the government hopes to reduce the grey-market risks often linked to crypto.

Gold and Silver See Sudden Sell-Off

Gold and silver markets experienced a sharp drop within a short period of time. According to market trackers, roughly $1 trillion in market value was wiped from the precious metals sector in just a few hours as both metals moved lower simultaneously.

Silver dropped significantly, falling below key support levels while gold also declined more than 2% during the sell-off.

Normally, geopolitical tensions or economic uncertainty push investors toward safe haven assets such as gold and silver. However, the recent move suggests something different may be happening in global markets.

One possible explanation is liquidity stress. When investors face uncertainty or margin pressure, they sometimes sell profitable assets includina metals to raise cash.
