Crypto analyst Tim Warren is sounding the alarm.

In a recent video, Warren laid out why banks aren’t waiting for the Clarity Act to pass before accumulating select altcoins. With Polymarket odds on passage climbing from 56% to 71% in a single week and Trump calling out banks on Truth Social for holding the bill “hostage” – the window is narrowing fast. The Senate Banking Committee is targeting a vote in the second half of March.

Smart money, it seems, is already moving.

The thesis is straightforward: regulatory clarity unlocks institutional mandates. And two themes are driving which coins banks are targeting – stablecoin regulation and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.

The firm claims it was unable to access the funds after Blockfills suddenly suspended withdrawals in early February 2026. Dominion further alleges that Blockfills admitted during internal client meetings that customer assets had been commingled on a single balance sheet and used to cover operational costs and trading losses, leaving the company with a balance sheet shortfall of about $77 million by the end of 2025. Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil granted the emergency order after Dominion argued there was a risk the assets could be moved or depleted before the court could fully review the case. The ruling prevents Blockfills from transferring the disputed Bitcoin or moving related assets outside the

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reached a settlement with Tron and founder Justin Sun on Thursday, the SEC said in a court filing.

Under the terms of the settlement, Rainberry Inc., one of the companies associated with the Tron network, will pay a $10 million fine and be barred from future violations of securities regulations. The SEC sued Sun and Tron in 2023, alleging violation of federal securities laws through the sale and airdropping of Tron (TRX) and BitTorrent (BTT) tokens.

Apart from the SEC's accusations that Tron was dealing in unregistered securities, the regulator had also alleged the defendants "fraudulently manipulat[ed]" TRX's secondary market through an "extensive wash trading" scheme. In the agency's rush to drop its earlier crypto registration cases, it kept pursuing those that were associated with deeper accusations.

"The remaining claims against Rainberry would be dismissed with prejudice," the filing said. "The Final Judgment would also dismiss all claims against Justin Sun, Tron Foundation, and BitTorrent Foundation."
