At the time of writing, Sui [SUI] had rallied by 7.3% in just 24 hours. The rally came alongside the wider market relief as Bitcoin’s [BTC] price pushed its way back above $70k once more.

According to CryptoQuant, the spot trading volume behind SUI has been falling since October 2025. Despite the 64% hike in daily trading volume, the longer-term spot volume trends seemed to be in a cooling phase.

Moreover, the 3-month spot taker CVD shifted from taker buyer-dominated to neutral. The falling cumulative market orders to buy SUI were not new, but have been ongoing for months.

The decline in spot trading volume since September was also reflected in the spot volume bubble map.

What does this mean for SUI prices?
The weekly chart highlighted the bearish trend in place since October 2025. Like many other altcoins and even Bitcoin, the selling pressure on SUI has not relented much in recent months.

There were sporadic periods of buying that saw a price bounce, but as the OBV revealed, selling volume was the dominant force.

Also, the RSI was below neutral 50 to underline that a downtrend was in progress.

Exploring short-term SUI trends
There have been no notable trends recently. Over the past month, SUI has traded within a rough range whose extremes were at $0.85 and $1.01. The local supply zone at $0.97-$1.0 was tested last week. It was also being challenged at press time.

A breakout beyond $1.05 is needed to shift the longer-term trend bullishly. Such a breakout could see SUI fall back below the $1-level if the rally is not borne by sustained spot demand.

Global crypto firms are doubling down on Africa to capture the opportunities associated with massive adoption across the region.

Blockchain.com is the latest to join the fray, announcing expansion into the West African country of Ghana after a successful debut in neighboring Nigeria. The firm runs a crypto exchange and brokerage services for retail and institutional clients.

According to the firm, it recorded 700% growth in Nigeria. It sees a similar opportunity in Ghana, with Owen Odia, General Manager, Africa at Blockchain.com citing the significant interest across the region.

“Our growth in Nigeria over the past year has demonstrated the immense potential for digital assets across the African region.”

Beyond being a tool to hedge against local currency volatility, users in the region also leverage crypto for payments, remittances, and savings.

Crypto adoption in Africa

Interestingly, Nigeria’s initial adoption was primarily driven by local currency devaluation after the Naira (NGN) dropped by over 70% against the U.S dollar since 2021. This has made stablecoins such as USDT and USDC a better alternative.

Last year alone, Nigeria led sub-Saharan Africa in total crypto value of over $92 billion, according to Chainalysis.

This was triple South Africa’s $30 billion – The second-most active crypto market in the region. Ethiopia ranks third, driven by massive foreign investment in Bitcoin mining, tapping into its relatively cheap electricity.

Kenya is the fourth-largest crypto market, while Ghana closes the top five list.

Since Ghana shares a border with Nigeria and is among the top countries in terms of crypto adoption, Blockchain.com’s expansion seems plausible.

ENA trapped in descending channel structure

On the daily chart, ENA remains within a broad descending channel that has defined the downtrend since late 2025. Recently, however, price action has shifted toward consolidation rather than continued decline.

The asset now trades within a defined demand zone between $0.093 and $0.133, where buyers continue to defend the structure. 

Candles inside this range show repeated stabilization attempts near $0.10, indicating steady demand absorption. However, the broader structure still reflects a bearish channel ceiling overhead. 

The $0.255 level remains the primary structural resistance, while the demand zone continues acting as a defensive base. 

Price now moves sideways within this compressed region, suggesting the market is evaluating whether accumulation can support a stronger recovery attempt.



At press time, the MACD indicator has begun flattening after months of downside pressure, signaling gradual trend stabilization. 

The MACD line was nearing the signal line, while histogram bars shrank toward neutral territory. This is evidence that selling intensity has eased compared to earlier phases. 

At the same time, the indicator no longer expands sharply below the baseline, suggesting sellers have lost dominance. 

Still, MACD remains slightly negative, meaning the broader trend has not fully reversed. Even so, such stabilization often marks a transition phase where markets shift from decline toward consolidation.
