Dogecoin Forecast
Dogecoin’s weekly chart reveals a modest recovery taking shape, but the price is now moving into an important resistance area. DOGE is trading near $0.1023, which keeps it above the lower Bollinger Band at $0.0741 and extends its rebound from the recent weakness. 

That stabilization matters because it suggests sellers are no longer fully in control after the long slide. Even so, the next major test sits at the Bollinger Band basis near $0.1237, which often acts as a mean-reversion resistance zone during corrective rebounds. 

Further, the Balance of Power indicator strengthens the short-term recovery case. With the reading at 0.88, buyers currently hold the upper hand. This shows that bulls are exerting stronger pressure than bears on this timeframe. The positive shift suggests momentum is improving as Dogecoin pushes toward weekly resistance.

Still, momentum alone is not enough to confirm a larger breakout. If DOGE clears the $0.1237 area, the move will open the door to a stronger recovery toward the upper Bollinger Band near $0.1733.

A joint stipulation of dismissal filed with the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on Thursday said the SEC’s crypto task force had reassessed the matter and decided to end the litigation. However, the filing warned that the decision should not be interpreted as a broader policy shift that would automatically extend to other crypto-related cases. “The Commission’s decision to exercise its discretion and seek dismissal of this litigation is based on the particular facts and circumstances of this case,” the filing said. Michael Saylor never misses a chance to talk about his firm, Strategy. In his latest post on X, he once again highlighted the company’s long-term plan of continuously buying Bitcoin [BTC].

He said,

Saylor even added a chart highlighting the company’s Bitcoin purchases over several years, hinting that the buying is far from over. For context, every orange dot in the chart represents one Bitcoin purchase made by Strategy.

Strategy’s Bitcoin buying spree

So far, there have been 102 purchase events by mid-March 2026. The orange line shows how Bitcoin’s price has moved over time, while a green dashed line shows Strategy’s average buying price, which is around $75,863.

When Saylor says “stretch the orange dots,” he means people should zoom out and look at the bigger picture instead of focusing on short-term price changes.

That said, Strategy currently holds 738,731 BTC, which is about 3.5% of Bitcoin’s total supply of 21 million coins. With Bitcoin trading near $73,000, the message suggests that Strategy may continue buying more Bitcoin and adding more “orange dots” in the future.

Analysts are divided

Needless to say, the company’s strategy is not only based on spare cash. According to analyst Lark Davis, Strategy has created a financial loop to keep buying Bitcoin.

It raises money by selling new shares or issuing convertible debt, and then uses that money to buy more BTC. In simple terms, it turns its stock into a tool to accumulate Bitcoin.

Remarking on which, Davis added,

It only works if Bitcoin keeps going up. Which means it’s either the greatest trade in history... or the most transparent gamble ever run.

Investors appear to support this strategy, as the company’s stock MSTR recently rose to about $139.67, showing confidence in its Bitcoin-focused approach.

The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin ($BTC), started the new week with an increase. The $BTC price rose above $74,000 before giving back some of its gains and falling back to around $73,000.

Although Bitcoin has outperformed stocks or gold since the US-Iran conflict, it remains more than 40% below its peak last October.

Bitcoin is recovering at this point, but is still moving within a certain range. According to analysts, Bitcoin spent much of this year stuck between $60,000 and $75,000. It consistently signaled an upward breakout but was unable to achieve the major breakout.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Wintermute analyst Jasper De Maere stated that despite Bitcoin’s recent uptrends and efforts in that direction, the downward trend still prevails due to increasing open positions and negative funding rates.

The analyst also noted that trading volumes were lower compared to the end of last year, adding that this made Bitcoin vulnerable to price volatility.

“The market rises a bit, open positions increase, Bitcoin funding rates turn negative, then we get squeezed upwards.”

Similarly, Andreja Cobeljic, head of derivatives at Swiss-based cryptocurrency bank Amina, noted that the current situation with Bitcoin follows a pattern seen in previous cryptocurrency bear markets.

He predicted that $BTC lacked the necessary momentum for further gains and could experience another decline after a temporary relief rally.
