Jeff Dorman, CIO at Arca, recently suggested that XRP represents the “opposite of good token design” amid criticisms of the top crypto assets.

He argued that the gap between cryptocurrency adoption and market prices remains largely because four of the top five crypto assets by market cap remain weak investments. 

Dorman criticized Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, claiming their token economics do not show the real value created by blockchain technology. According to him, this situation has pushed the industry toward short-term trading instead of long-term fundamental investment.
Key Points

Jeff Dorman of Arca said the crypto industry struggles because four of the top five assets by market cap are difficult to justify as long-term investments.

For XRP, Dorman claimed the token does nothing, lacks strong design, and has no linkage to Ripple despite the firm selling billions a year.

Dorman also questioned Bitcoin, highlighting concerns about quantum risks and the rise of stablecoins for payments.

He said Ethereum and Solana face high token inflation and would need roughly 1,000 times more activity to justify current valuations.

Polygon has published a CLI kit that gives AI agents access to wallets, payments, swaps, bridging, onchain identity, and more.

Founder Sandeep Nailwal says that the kit is like giving agents their own Open Money Stack.

Polygon has joined the growing list of blockchain networks releasing new tools targeting AI agents, publishing a new CLI kit that lets these agents interact with its network directly.

The Polygon Agent CLI is described as a unified tool “for everything an agent needs to go onchain.” It enables an agent to hold and move money on the network, and pay for services onchain without needing any human intervention.

Founder Sandeep Nailwal, who now leads the Polygon Foundation, described the toolkit as everything an agent would need to go on-chain, adding, “We literally just gave agents their own Open Money Stack.”

Bitcoin Chart Outlook

The daily bitcoin chart outlines the broader structural backdrop: a steep decline from roughly $89,000 toward $60,000 followed by a sideways consolidation phase. That range currently spans approximately $63,000 to $73,000, creating a classic equilibrium zone where neither side has established sustained directional control.

Support is clustered near $65,000, with deeper macro support near $60,000, while resistance sits between $73,000 and $74,000, with the next technical ceiling around $78,000. In plain English: Bitcoin is not trending on the macro timeframe right now; it is coiling. And markets that coil tend to eventually snap in one direction or the other.

Zooming into the four-hour bitcoin chart shows the intermediate swing structure losing some steam. Price previously rallied from about $68,000 to $74,000 before encountering rejection and forming a sequence of lower highs. That pattern suggests fading upward momentum as the market drifts back toward the $70,000 zone. Key resistance remains around $73,500 to $74,000, while nearby support sits between $69,000 and $70,000, followed by another technical cushion near $67,000. If that $70K shelf fractures with momentum, liquidity likely sits waiting closer to the $67K region, which markets tend to explore with enthusiasm.
