The Era of This Altcoin Begins in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)! Giant Company Announces!

As adoption of Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins continues to grow, the latest news comes for Solana (SOL).

Accordingly, Solmate, which is traded on Nasdaq, announced that it will establish its Solana headquarters in the United Arab Emirates.

Solmate, currently operating under the name Brera Holdings PLC, announced it will change its name to Solmate Infrastructure PLC and transform into a digital asset infrastructure company based in Solana, making Abu Dhabi its main operational center.

Solmate (SLMT), a company traded on Nasdaq, will establish a Solana headquarters in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as part of a corporate restructuring.

Last September, Solmate announced it would be shifting away from its traditional business model focused on managing football clubs and adopting a strategy focused on Solana.

The company also plans to amend its articles of association to formally include blockchain infrastructure and digital asset treasury operations as core business lines.

This step is an extension of Solmate’s corporate transition, which began last September when it transformed from a football club owner to a Solana youth development provider.

The company added that the funds will now be used to expand Solana’s infrastructure and implement its digital asset strategy in the UAE.

The company also plans a 1:10 reverse stock split to adjust its equity structure. The plan would merge 10 Class A and 10 Class B shares into a single share, increasing its face value from $0.05 to $0.50. The stock ticker symbol will remain SLMT.

Solmate Infrastructure is sharpening its focus on building a Solana (SOL) hub in the United Arab Emirates, as the company moves to formally change its legal name and align its corporate structure with its digital asset strategy.

The company — currently operating under the legal entity Brera Holdings PLC and listed on Nasdaq under the ticker SLMT — announced Tuesday that its board approved a proposal to formally reposition the firm as an institutional-grade provider of Solana infrastructure with its primary operational base in Abu Dhabi. 

The announcement represents the latest chapter in a transformation that began last September, when the company — then still known primarily as a football ownership group — unveiled a sweeping rebrand to pursue a Solana-focused strategy.

As part of the shift announced Tuesday, Solmate plans to officially change its legal name to Solmate Infrastructure PLC and update its constitutional documents to reflect its focus on blockchain infrastructure and digital asset treasury activities.

The company also intends to streamline non-core assets, including winding down two underperforming soccer teams from its existing sports portfolio, while retaining its flagship Italian club Juve Stabia. Capital freed from those operations will be redirected toward expanding Solana infrastructure in the UAE, according to the statement.

Flatness in Crypto Prices
Crypto prices seem as if they barely moved over the last 24 hours. For instance, BTC price is still between $69k and $70k, except it has marginally slipped by 0.23% to $69,967.48. ETH has also shed 0.62% of its value and is now trading at $2,033.62. This is in line with earlier trends wherein it’s been moving between $1.9k and $2.1k.

TRX price stands out among the top tokens with a 0.27% gain. So does DOGE with an uptick of 0.44%. Every other cryptocurrency in the list of top 10 tokens is down. The broader picture shows all of them moving within a narrow range.

Overall, the market cap has declined by 0.15%, and the FGI has shifted to 25 points.

Natural Gas Supply for Asia
Asia, known to be more vulnerable to the ongoing supply disruption, has possibly found a new source. LNG Canada has committed to boosting production and exports this month, which is March 2026. The Shell-led venture has already exported five cargoes as of March 11, 2026. Its next shipment is scheduled to depart tentatively on Thursday.

Countries to have received cargoes to this point are Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines. This is imperative because experts earlier flagged the possibility for a global recession if the Middle East conflict was prolonged. This was then expected to impact the crypto market and prices of cryptocurrencies as most of the top crypto-adoption countries on the list are Asian.

The ongoing prolonged price downturn has pushed Shiba Inu to a long-standing horizontal base at $0.00000517.

$SHIB trades within a range, with $0.00000517 serving as the lower demand zone and the area around $0.0000885 as the upper resistance zone.

Copper has been in steady decline against gold since 2011, forming lower highs and lower lows on a descending trendline.

Although this looks somewhat different from Shiba Inu’s trend, data shows a correlation in the timing of peaks and bottoms.

Both are also at a historical trendline support, and Shiba Inu could follow suit if the copper/gold pair rebounds.
