Unlike Bitcoin, which saw minor redemptions from Grayscale’s GBTC, Ether funds reported zero outflows across the board, signaling a unified bullish sentiment among institutional investors for the second-largest cryptocurrency.
Market Outlook and Predictions
The persistence of these inflows suggests a fundamental shift in market structure. Analysts predict that as cumulative inflows for products like XRP ETFs—which have quietly reached $1.4 billion since launch—continue to grow, the market is nearing a "supply shock" phase. If institutional demand maintains this three-day velocity, experts anticipate Bitcoin could challenge previous resistance levels, potentially targeting the $75,000–$80,000 range by the next quarter. Furthermore, the stabilization of Ether inflows suggests that the "Ethereum catch-up trade" is finally gaining momentum, setting the stage for a broader altcoin rally.

Here is what $100 oil means for Bitcoin network

As oil surges past $100 amid escalating Middle East tensions, the question for the Bitcoin network and miners is not whether their power bills will rise, but whether Bitcoin’s price will fall.

According to research from bitcoin mining software and services company Luxor’s Hashrate Index, the direct effect of oil price shocks on mining costs is likely to be limited, but the broader macroeconomic consequences could weigh more heavily on the industry.

However, the impact of oil prices surging isn't zero on the Bitcoin network.

Luxor estimates that about 8 to 10 percent of global bitcoin hashrate operates in electricity markets where power prices are closely linked to crude oil. These operations are primarily concentrated in Gulf states such as the United Arab Emirates and Oman, with smaller contributions from Iran, Kuwait, Qatar and Libya.

“The genuinely oil-exposed countries" are the Gulf states, Luxor wrote in its research note, adding that the UAE and Oman together account for roughly about 6% of the network's computing power or hashrate.

"These grids run primarily on natural gas derived from oil production, with electricity pricing that does track crude more directly than in the US or Russia," the report said.

Meanwhile, Iran is estimated to hold another 0.8%, and other smaller contributors like Kuwait, Qatar, and Libya bring the total crude-sensitive hashrate exposure to roughly 8–10% of the network.

A proposed class-action complaint in California accuses JPMorgan Chase Bank of enabling a $328 million cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme run by Goliath Ventures, which allegedly raised funds from more than 2,000 investors between 2023 and 2025.

The filing says Chase accounts served as the “exclusive vehicle” for misappropriating investor funds, including about $253 million deposited into a JPMorgan account during that period, with $123 million transferred to Goliath wallets maintained at Coinbase.

JPMorgan Chase faces a proposed class action alleging it provided the essential banking infrastructure for a $328 million cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme operated by Goliath Ventures, according to a complaint filed this week in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

The lawsuit, brought by plaintiff Robby Alan Steele on behalf of more than 2,000 investors, claims the bank served as the "sole banking institution" for Goliath from January 2023 through May or June 2025. Steele, a California resident, alleges he lost $650,000 in the scheme, including $310,000 in cash and $340,000 withdrawn from his 401(k) retirement account after paying associated taxes.

Goliath marketed "joint venture agreements" to investors nationwide, promising profits from cryptocurrency trading strategies and digital-asset arbitrage, the complaint states. In reality, federal prosecutors allege in a separate criminal case that the operation functioned as a classic Ponzi scheme, using new investor funds to pay earlier investors. The U.S. arrested Goliath CEO Christopher Delgado on Feb. 24.

A Bitcoin heatmap shared by Columbus suggests the market is starting to accept price action above a descending channel, while fresh bid liquidity appears across the order book. The chart points to a possible structural shift as support begins to build around lower levels after the recent move higher.

The visual shows dense liquidity clusters both above and below the current trading zone, with notable bid interest forming near the $68,000 area. According to the analysis, that level matches the former channel resistance and may now act as support if Bitcoin pulls back. This kind of retest often helps confirm whether a breakout is holding.

At the same time, the heatmap shows heavier liquidity sitting overhead, especially in the higher price zones. If Bitcoin continues to hold above the broken channel, that overhead liquidity could become the next draw for price. In that case, the market may move quickly toward those levels as traders target areas with larger resting orders.

The chart therefore suggests a two-step structure. First, Bitcoin may revisit the $68,000 zone where bids are already visible. Then, if buyers defend that area, the broader setup could support continuation toward higher liquidity clusters above the current range.

US Energy Secretary Chris Wright posted on social media that the US Navy had escorted an oil tanker safely through the Strait, a claim that briefly calmed markets and sent crude prices lower.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt then confirmed the post was false. Wright deleted it. Oil shot back up.

The episode rattled an already jittery market and drew a sharp rebuke from Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who accused Washington of deliberately spreading false information to manipulate oil prices.

“It won’t protect them from the inflationary tsunami they’ve imposed on Americans,” Araghchi said.
The intelligence that triggered the price surge came from CBS White House Correspondent Jennifer Jacobs, who reported that US intelligence assets had picked up signs of Iranian mine deployment activity in the Strait.

Brent crude climbed above $90 a barrel after dipping to an intraday low of around $82. West Texas Intermediate, the US benchmark, rose above $80 after touching $77 earlier in the session.

Both were still down significantly on the day, but the speed of the recovery underscored how sensitive traders are to any supply threat at this chokepoint.
