You see the setup. The plan says go. But your stomach says wait. 😬

Sound familiar?

Almost every trader has been there.

The trade that felt safe often went wrong.
The trade that felt scary often made sense.

This is not luck.

It is psychology.

Let's break down why.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

◆ THE COMFORT TRAP

Our brains evolved to avoid danger and seek safety.

In daily life, that works well.

In markets, it can work against us.

Comfort in trading usually means one thing:

Following the crowd.

✔︎ Buying after a big green candle feels safe because everyone is excited

✔︎ Holding a losing position feels safe because you avoid admitting a mistake

✔︎ Skipping a valid setup after two losses feels safe because you avoid more pain

None of these are decisions.

They are emotional reactions dressed up as decisions.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

◆ WHY GOOD DECISIONS FEEL WRONG

Here are three reasons discomfort shows up at the right moments:

① You Are Acting Against the Crowd

When a plan asks you to wait while the market is euphoric, or to stay calm while it is panicking, you are going against social instinct.

Humans hate standing alone.

That feeling is real, and it is normal.

② You Are Accepting Uncertainty

A good decision is not one that guarantees a win.

It is one that has a sound process behind it.

Accepting that any single outcome can be wrong is deeply uncomfortable.

But it is the foundation of professional thinking.

③ You Are Choosing a Small Loss Over a Hopeful Gamble

Cutting a trade at your planned level feels bad in the moment.

Hoping it comes back feels better.

Yet protecting your capital is often the more disciplined path.

$GRVT Ethereum’s Glamsterdam upgrade has gone live on the Sepolia testnet, in one of the final major rehearsals before its mainnet activation.

Glamsterdam went live on Sepolia on Tuesday at 1:53 pm UTC at epoch 353,024, according to blockchain data from the Sepolia explorer.

The upgrade aims to advance Ethereum’s layer-1 scaling roadmap with enshrined proposer-builder separation, block-level access lists and changes to gas pricing that better reflect the cost of execution, the Ethereum Foundation announced in a Sept. 28 blog post.

The development marks one of the final testnet launches for Glamsterdam, arguably one of the most consequential upgrades of 2026, aiming to make the Ethereum network more scalable and efficient.

Following the testnet launch, developers will determine Glamsterdam’s activation date on the Hoodi testnet, before determining the final date of its mainnet launch.

Aiming to improve Ethereum’s efficiency and scalability
Glamsterdam marks the next major upgrade after Fusaka, designed to improve scalability, harden the layer-1 and make the network easier to use.

The upgrade’s headliner changes are enshrined proposer-builder separation (ePBS) and block-level access lists (BALs), which change how blocks are produced and validated to support greater throughput on the Ethereum mainnet.

Enshrined Proposer-Builder Separation, or EIP-7732, introduces separation between block proposers and builders on Ethereum’s consensus protocol, while also separating consensus validation from execution validation, giving validators more time to validate execution payloads.

Currently, Ethereum is running in single-lane mode, processing transactions in a single order. Parallel processing seeks to enable higher transactions per second on Ethereum and bigger block sizes, without raising the gas

TL;DR

THORChain completed its Zcash integration, allowing native ZEC swaps with assets on other supported chains without wrapping, bridges or centralized exchanges.

The integration includes Zcash-specific UTXO handling, ZIP-317 fees, oracle support and compatibility with the NU6.3 Ironwood network upgrade.

THORChain currently uses Zcash’s transparent UTXO infrastructure, meaning cross-chain swaps remain publicly traceable and do not provide the privacy available through shielded Zcash transactions during these cross-chain swaps.

THORChain has completed its native Zcash integration, enabling users to swap ZEC directly with assets on other supported blockchains without wrapping, bridging or relying on centralized exchanges. In the official announcement, THORChain said the integration brings Zcash into its cross-chain infrastructure and marks the protocol’s first support for permissionless swaps involving a privacy-focused asset. THORChain now gives ZEC holders a native route into assets such as BTC and ETH. The integration expands Zcash access to decentralized cross-chain liquidity while preserving native asset settlement.

THORChain Adds Native ZEC Without Extending Shielded Privacy

The integration builds on Zcash’s UTXO architecture, allowing THORChain to reuse parts of the infrastructure already supporting Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin. Zcash still requires dedicated handling for transaction rules, RPC behavior, fees and network upgrades. THORChain added ZEC-specific UTXO logic, RPC handling, transaction safeguards, fee support and oracle infrastructure to make native swaps possible. The rollout follows the earlier ZEC liquidity pool deployment that prepared the network before trading was enabled.

THORChain also supports Zcash’s ZIP-317 fee model and the NU6.3 Ironwood upgrade, including its new consensus branch. Nodes can now observe the Zc
