$GRVT Avalanche Q3 Credit Volume: What the $37.4M Record Actually Measures

Avalanche says onchain credit volume hit a record in Q3 2026. The chart puts quarterly loans paid out and repaid at $37.4M, 34% above Q2.

📌 The number to read first

$37.4M is quarterly loan volume for credit and asset-backed finance. It is not total value locked, and it is not presented as every lending market on the network. The figure counts loans paid out plus repayments.

📊 The four-quarter path

- Q4 2025 landed at $29.3M
- Q1 2026 rose to $30.1M
- Q2 2026 eased to $27.9M
- Q3 2026 reached $37.4M, up 34% versus Q2

🔍 Source and scope

Data is attributed to OATFI, Valinor and Fence, covering October 2025 through September 28, 2026. Avalanche states that Q4 2025 and Q1 2026 include lender funding, so those two quarters are not directly identical in composition to Q2 and Q3. The update was posted on October 8, 2026.

🛡 How to use the figure

Treat it as an activity print for paid and repaid loans in this credit segment. It does not, by itself, show default rates, outstanding principal, or which protocols drove the increase. Anyone comparing Q3 with late 2025 should account for the lender-funding inclusion in the earlier bars.

Around $50 billion has flowed into digital assets so far this year, with stronger ETF flows and futures positions creating positive momentum heading into the fourth quarter, according to JPMorgan analysts.

The current inflows equal an annualized pace of about $66 billion, the JPMorgan analysts led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou said in a Wednesday report, noting that that's higher than the $52 billion annualized pace recorded in May, but still around half of last year's pace.

The analysts usually estimate flows by aggregating crypto fund flows, the flow impulse implied by CME futures, crypto VC fundraising, and publicly listed miners and corporate treasury purchases of digital assets. Now the analysts said they have expanded the estimate to include purchases by private corporate treasuries, private miners and government-related entities.
