Bitcoin Price Prediction: Wall Street Is Buying Bitcoin Again — And Dumping Altcoins
Institutional money just made its move.

On Monday, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in about $167 million in fresh inflows, snapping a short two-day streak of outflows. While Wall Street was buying Bitcoin, funds tied to Ether, XRP, and Solana kept bleeding capital for a third straight day.
Bitcoin is currently trading around $71,000. It is up 3% on the day and still holding a weekly gain as capital rotates away from riskier altcoins and back into the market leader.

Michael Saylor’s company bought another 17,994 BTC between March 2 and 8, spending roughly $1.28 billion during the dip.

With institutions stepping back in and geopolitical tensions easing slightly, the market is starting to look less like a risk chase and more like a flight to quality.

Can Bitcoin Reclaim $72,000 Before Month’s End?

BTC is trading just above the $71,000 psychological level, and that area is proving to be a real friction point. Spot buyers are stepping in to absorb supply, but derivatives traders remain cautious, keeping momentum in check.

The “Rainbow Chart” currently suggests ongoing downward pressure toward the end of March, potentially testing lower support bands before the next leg up.
Zooming out, though, the long-term outlook still looks strong. Institutional forecasts for this cycle have climbed sharply. Some estimates now place Bitcoin between $110,000 and $170,000 if the broader trend continues.

For now, the market appears to be consolidating. If Bitcoin manages to reclaim $72,000 and turn it into support, the path toward six figures could open quickly. But if $65,000 breaks, the market may see another quick flush before the next real rally starts.

A former Ripple senior engineer, Steven Zeiler, has reignited a long-forgotten discussion in the XRP community by explaining why the once-promising Codius project quietly faded from view years ago. Zeiler argued that the project lacked a token, and without one, it failed to gain traction. His claim drew sharp debate from validators and caught the attention of many community members.

Why The Codius Project Failed
On March 8, Zeiler, who now serves as a developer evangelist at the Yellow Network, took to X to offer a frank reflection on why Codius, the decentralized computing platform, never gained the traction its creators expected. Zeiler and his team built Codius after leaving Ripple, and looking back, the former senior engineer noted that the project was missing a crucial piece that he believes doomed it from the start.

According to Zeiler, the technology behind Codius was solid, and the vision was clear. Still, the project lacked a native token to bootstrap the network or incentivize early adopters, the people who took the risk to deploy the software. He drew a direct comparison to the Ethereum blockchain, arguing that the “genius” of the ETH token gave people a tangible reason to get involved before the network proved itself.

Zeiler connected this lesson directly to the launch of the Yellow token, framing native assets as essential for rewarding the risk-takers who deploy software, contribute to code, and build early momentum. He noted that continually enabling self-executing applications that do not rely on third-party brokers increases the value of the underlying network. The former Ripple senior executive concluded his post with a pointed observation that every great technology needs powerful incentives to scale.

Cardano: Here Are Midnight (NIGHT) Price Predictions for 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030 Amid the rising adoption of Cardano sidechain Midnight, investors believe the growing demand could support the long-term price trajectory of its native token.

After launching only three months ago, NIGHT, the native token of Midnight, continues to gain traction. Notably, the Cardano analytics platform Cexplorer reported that NIGHT has become one of the most widely held tokens on the Cardano network, with the number of unique wallets approaching 55,000.

At press time, NIGHT's unique wallet count stood at 54,682, marking an 89% increase from 28,892 recorded on January 20. Short-Term XRP “Noise
Recently, crypto analyst @Jaydee_757 took to X to highlight what he sees as a common mistake in how traders interpret XRP price movements. His argument centers on the tendency to judge the asset’s direction using short-term activity instead of the broader market trend.

Over the past day, XRP has traded gradually around the $1.30 range, posting modest gains and relatively small intraday swings. For traders focused on hourly or daily charts, this kind of movement can appear slow or uneventful. However, Jaydee argues that such price action represents only a small portion of the market’s overall structure.

According to him, this is where what traders call “noise” begins to dominate perception. When market participants closely track every minor fluctuation, those movements can draw disproportionate attention and trigger emotional reactions.

This effect becomes more noticeable during consolidation phases, when prices move sideways rather than trending strongly upward. Short-term traders may interpret these pauses as weakness or fading momentum, even though consolidation often forms before larger moves.

Jaydee notes that stepping back to a higher timeframe helps remove much of this distraction, allowing traders to focus on the underlying trend rather than the day-to-day volatility.
