Uber Technologies and Nvidia (NVDA) will launch a Nvidia-powered, self-driving taxi set to arrive in 2027, the latter revealed Monday. A fleet of Level 4 autonomous vehicles will come to Los Angeles and San Francisco in 2027 as part of both companies’ broader self-driving efforts.At Nvidia’s GTC event on Monday, the AI giant said the service will eventually move beyond California to include 28 cities across four continents. Then, it outputs driving trajectories with reasoning traces.”Nvidia and Uber stock both rose higher after the GTC event and self-driving taxi announcement. NVDA is trading near the top of its 52-week range and above its 200-day simple moving average.

BitMine bought another 60,999 ETH worth nearly $140 million, lifting total holdings to 4,595,562 ETH valued at more than $10 billion today overall.

The company says it still has $1.2 billion in cash for more purchases and is openly targeting 5% of Ethereum’s total supply eventually.

BitMine also has 3.04 million ETH staked, producing about $180 million in annual revenue as it turns accumulation into an income-generating strategy for shareholders.

BitMine Immersion Technologies is pushing deeper into Ethereum even as volatility keeps shaking the market, and the latest 60,999 ETH purchase shows the company is treating price weakness as an opening, not a warning. The newest acquisition, described as BitMine’s biggest of the year, was valued at nearly $140 million with ETH trading around $2,300. That buy lifts the company’s holdings to 4,595,562 ETH worth more than $10 billion, giving the NYSE-listed firm an even larger lead as what it calls the world’s biggest corporate holder of Ethereum. This imbalance exposed severe liquidity stress. Pressure intensified earlier when Bitcoin [BTC] plunged from $97,000 to below $64,000 during February’s “Black Storm.”

As prices collapsed, institutional borrowers failed to meet margin calls. BlockFills then absorbed roughly $75 million in bad debt from these defaults.

Meanwhile, the firm had halted withdrawals on the 11th of February, signaling depleted liquidity buffers. Legal pressure soon compounded the crisis as Dominion Capital alleged misuse of customer assets.

These events reveal structural weaknesses in centralized crypto lending. When collateral values fall faster than liquidations execute, balance sheets quickly unravel.

As liquidity providers disappear, market depth thins, slippage rises, and institutional trust across crypto credit markets weakens further.

Institutional capital shifts toward crypto ETFs

Institutional capital continues flowing through regulated crypto ETFs even as credit markets face strain. Over the past week, Bitcoin ETFs recorded $767.3 million in net inflows.

Approximately over $600 million of that capital was drawn to BlackRock’s IBIT, which dominated activity.

In contrast, Grayscale’s GBTC saw a $25.9 million exit, highlighting continued capital rotation. As Bitcoin [BTC] demand strengthens through ETFs, Ethereum funds also record steady accumulation.

Ethereum ETFs added $160.8 million in net inflows, reflecting steady institutional demand as investors continued reallocating exposure across different Ethereum investment products.
