В среду ведущий поставщик финансовых решений на основе блокчейна объявил о планах получить австралийскую лицензию на предоставление финансовых услуг (AFSL), что является стратегическим шагом для расширения его регулируемого присутствия в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе.

Согласно заявлению компании, эта инициатива, как ожидается, укрепит предложения Ripple в области трансграничных платежей, позволяя финансовым учреждениям, финтех-компаниям и предприятиям в Австралии и за ее пределами более эффективно передавать ценности в рамках полностью соответствующей законодательству системы.

По словам Фионы Мюррей, управляющего директора Ripple по Азиатско-Тихоокеанскому региону, получение AFSL является ключевым шагом в стратегии роста компании.
