Robert Mitchnick, Head of Digital Assets at BlackRock, said the $14 trillion asset manager will not focus on overly complex or experimental crypto ETF structures. Instead, BlackRock plans to maintain a careful and disciplined approach while expanding its crypto investment products.

Although some asset managers are experimenting with more “exotic” ETF models, BlackRock believes that a measured strategy is more suitable for long-term investors.

Recently, BlackRock launched a staked Ether ETF, further expanding its crypto offerings beyond the spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs introduced in 2024.
