The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially dismissed another crypto-related case, this time involving Nader Al-Naji, the founder of BitClout. This development marks the end of a nearly two-year legal battle, with the case initially filed in July 2024.

BitClout Founder Cleared Of SEC Charges
In a recent court filing, the SEC announced that it had reassessed the evidentiary record and concluded that dismissing the claims against Al-Naji and the associated Relief Defendants was appropriate. “In the exercise of its discretion, the Commission believes dismissal of the claims is appropriate,” the filing stated.

The SEC’s initial lawsuit accused Al-Naji of raising over $257 million through unregistered offers and sales of the BitClout blockchain’s native token, BTCLT, since November 2020.

The complaint alleged that he misled investors by falsely claiming that the funds would not be used for personal gain. At the time, the SEC contended that Al-Naji had misappropriated more than $7 million of investor money for personal expenses, which included “extravagant gifts” and rental payments for a Beverly Hills mansion.

According to the SEC’s complaint, Al-Naji took extensive measures to present BitClout as a decentralized platform devoid of central authority. To maintain this façade, he allegedly operated under the pseudonym “Diamondhands.”

The SEC also claimed that he procured legal opinions asserting the non-securities status of BTCLT while misrepresenting the project’s actual nature, ultimately disclosing deceptive practices only to select investors.

Artificial intelligence-linked cryptocurrencies extended their surge Monday after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang laid out the company’s vision for the next phase of AI infrastructure during his keynote at Nvidia’s GTC developer conference.

Among the big movers were AI-focused blockchain NEAR$1.5020, climbing more than 10% over the past 24 hours, reaching its strongest level since late January. Decentralized AI project Artificial Superintelligence Alliance’s FET token surged as much as 20% intraday before trimming gains later in the session.

Meanwhile WLD$0.4027 — the identity-focused crypto project co-founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman — rose about 10%, trading near $0.40, its strongest level since early March. Grass (GRASS), a decentralized network that lets users monetize unused internet bandwidth to train AI models, surged 13% to fresh 2026 highs.

The moves came as Huang reinforced in his speech Nvidia’s central role in the global AI boom. During the keynote, he said the company expects roughly $1 trillion worth of chip demand backlog through 2027, with hyperscale cloud providers accounting for about 60% of its business.

Huang also highlighted the rapid rise of agentic AI systems, praising the viral OpenClaw project that has gained traction among developers in recent weeks. He said that Nvidia worked to adapt the system into an enterprise-ready version called NemoClaw, designed to make autonomous AI agents safer for corporate use without exposing sensitive data.

B price reverses from the discount zone

On the charts, BUILDon’s price has reversed its pullback from the zone between the 0.50 and 0.618 Fibonacci Retracement levels. The bounce-off indicated that the trend was healthy on the 4-hour timeframe chart.

The price action was approaching the top of the 8-day trend that started on the 25th of February and ended on the 5th of March. Breaching this top at $0.24 would set B on a path to $0.30, a 2026 high.

The rally came after a three-week consolidation inside a triangle pattern. However, if bears at the $0.24 level reject any further price appreciation, the altcoin might continue trading in this year’s bear structure.

Supporting these trends for tokens on BNB Chain was the Sentiment indicator, which was at 100%. Additionally, the Net Volume showed that bulls were buying more than sellers, recording about 1.74 million B tokens at press time.

The triple touch just below the discount area at the 0.5 Fibonacci Retracement confirmed the shift in direction. The buying from the discount zone was driven by whales and encouraged by the existence of enough liquidity.

Whale accumulation and liquidity boost the rally

As per data from BscScan, a whale purchased more than 1.995 million B tokens valued at about 418K in the past few hours, adding to the buy pressure.

A fresh clash between XRP critics and defenders broke out on X after Chainlink Community Liaison Zach Rynes (@ChainLinkGod) argued that the XRP investment thesis has failed to keep pace with how crypto markets and financial infrastructure have evolved. His central claim was blunt: the XRP Ledger is now a “ghost chain,” while the use case once pitched for XRP as a bridge asset has largely been overtaken by stablecoins and broader interoperability infrastructure.

Rynes framed the dispute around what he called the long-running retail thesis behind XRP. “The bizarre retail thesis of XRP is that it will become the global reserve currency that everything trades against, the so-called ‘XRP standard,’” he wrote. “Rather than trading Dollars for Euros directly, you would trade USD for XRP, and then XRP for EUR, because this makes payments supposedly more efficient.”

He argued that XRP supporters prefer to describe this not as a bid for reserve-currency status, but as a narrower “bridge currency” role. In his view, that distinction does not materially change the argument. He said the larger problem is that the market structure envisioned by early XRP advocates was built in other ways over the past decade.

“The XRP vision was created over a decade ago before we had modern 200K TPS high-throughput chains, programmable smart contracts, DeFi protocols, fiat-backed stablecoins, tokenized deposits, atomic DvP/PvP swaps, and cross-chain infra,” Rynes wrote. “If you listen to what the world’s largest financial institutions and market infrastructures like Swift, DTCC, JP Morgan, BlackRock, and many others are saying, you’ll find zero of them talking about the need for a ‘bridge currency.’ Rather, they talk about the need for connectivity, interoperability, privacy, compliance, and orchestration.”

Crypto Resists Pressure From War Tensions

According to the latest QCP Market Colour report, cryptocurrencies are striking back and not letting the war get the most of their price movements in what analysts call a “late-quarter plot twist.” Both bitcoin ($BTC) and ether ($ETH) are trading in the green over daily and weekly timeframes. At the time of writing, $BTC was hovering above $73,550, while $ETH changed hands around $2,250.

Bitcoin’s safe-haven and geopolitical-hedge narrative is resurfacing, with market volatility testing the thesis in real time. Equities, on the other hand, are testing key support levels amid heightened oil volatility and geopolitical tensions. This reflects the decoupling between crypto, equities, and gold.
