The SEC and CFTC have just signed an agreement that turns months of public harmonization talk into a formal operating framework for crypto, derivatives, and hybrid market products.

The agreement covers product definitions, clearing and margin rules, dually registered venues and intermediaries, crypto assets, reporting, examinations, surveillance, and enforcement.

SEC Chair Paul Atkins admitted that years of “regulatory turf wars,” duplicate registrations, and overlapping rules helped push activity to other jurisdictions. That turns a procedural announcement into a concrete claim: part of the U.S. crypto problem came from the U.S. regulatory structure itself, not only from the firms trying to navigate it.

The immediate effect, however, is procedural and is unlikely to move markets on its own.

As expected, crypto supporters ganged up against him, with some sarcastically

calling the U.K a ‘giant Ponzi scheme’ given its high fiscal debt and deficits. Some even extended the sarcasm to the local currency, the Pound. 

Despite his negative view of the sector, however, the Boris Johnson administration (2019-2022) laid the crucial groundwork for the U.K’s current crypto regulatory roadmap.

Notably, former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who was Chancellor in Johnson’s administration at the time, pledged to make the U.K a global crypto asset hub. He initiated the push to recognize stablecoins as a valid payment method. 

In fact, the U.K’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) began crafting a regulatory perimeter for different crypto assets in 2019. At the time, most crypto activity received minimal regulatory scrutiny. 

However, the comprehensive foundation set during the Johnson administration was later built on and informed the stronger regulation of the sector in 2023. This was after Johnson left office, effectively bringing the U.K’s crypto activity within the regulated financial purview. 

So far, the FCA has approved crypto ETFs and is now working on a regulated framework for stablecoins and a broader market structure.

From a bottom level of $0.0009117, the TURBO price climbed toward the current trading range of $0.001170. The digital asset has surpassed a few key resistance zones to confirm the uptrend. Besides, the daily trading volume has skyrocketed by over 1525%, reaching the $152.43 million mark.

Upon analysing the 4-hour bullish trading chart, the TURBO price could rise to the resistance at $0.0012. Continued upside pressure might trigger the emergence of the golden cross, and the potential bulls would drive the asset’s price even higher.

In the scenario of a bearish reversal, the price might test multiple support levels, initially at around $0.0010. With a correction on the downside, the TURBO price invites the death cross to take place, likely sending the price back to its former lows.

TURBO Technical Indicators Point to a Bullish Setup

The daily Relative Strength Index of TURBO is resting at 68.87 implies a strong bullish sentiment. Notably, the value may approach 70, the overbought zone. If RSI moves higher, a short-term pullback could occur, although the overall momentum may remain bullish.

Moreover, the Bull Bear Power (BBP) reading of 0.000256 points to a very weak bullish dominance. It is extremely close to zero, with the buyers having a slightly more advantage. The market is stable, and assuming a further rise, the bullish strength may grow.

CryptoQuant Warns Ethereum Price Could Fall to $1,500 Despite Record Network Growth
Network activity on Ethereum is climbing to record levels, yet the asset’s market value continues to struggle.

Analysts at CryptoQuant say this unusual disconnect could signal additional downside for ETH if broader market conditions remain weak. The research firm describes the trend as an “adoption paradox.” In simple terms, Ethereum usage is rising while investor demand weakens.

According to Julio Moreno, Ethereum could fall toward $1,500 if the current bear market continues. He noted that such a move could occur by the end of the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter this year unless capital flows improve.
As of this writing, Ethereum traded near $2,110, gaining more than 4% over the past 24 hours.
