Asian equity markets edged higher Tuesday, extending gains for a second consecutive session as investors navigated a packed central bank schedule and ongoing uncertainty surrounding the U.S.-Iran conflict. MSCI's broadest Asia-Pacific index outside Japan climbed 0.9%, with South Korea's Kospi surging 2.4% and Japan's Nikkei 225 adding 0.3%. However, S&P 500 futures dipped 0.3%, signaling cautious sentiment on Wall Street after Monday's 1.0% rebound snapped a four-day losing streak driven by strength in AI-related stocks. The index still trades roughly 3% below pre-conflict levels.Analyst Chris Weston of Pepperstone Group described the rally as more of a positioning squeeze than a sustained directional move, expressing reluctance to chase dips at this stage. Oil markets remained volatile, with Brent crude jumping 2.7% to $102.89 per barrel after several U.S. allies declined Trump's request to deploy warships protecting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz — a critical corridor handling nearly one-fifth of the world's energy supply.Central banks are squarely in focus this week. The Reserve Bank of Australia is expected to raise rates to 4.1%, setting the tone ahead of decisions from the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, Bank of England, and Bank of Japan — all widely anticipated to hold rates steady. The Bank for International Settlements advised policymakers to avoid overreacting to the energy price spike, calling it a classic supply shock to look through. Bitcoin’s latest price surge has raised speculation about a possible bottom or trend reversal. However, the key question is not the size of the move, but whether it reflects a structural shift in demand. In Bitcoin markets, a “bounce” typically refers to a temporary rebound within a broader downtrend. Such moves are often driven by short-covering, position adjustments, and sentiment reversals, rather than fresh spot demand. They tend to occur after periods of heightened fear, when selling pressure briefly eases. The on-chain indicator SOPR (Spent Output Profit Ratio) provides important context. SOPR shows whether coins moved on-chain are being sold at a profit or a loss. When SOPR falls below 1, it indicates that market participants are selling at a loss, prioritizing risk reduction over profitability. Historically, SOPR remaining below 1 has not marked market bottoms. Instead, it has appeared during early to mid bear-market phases, often alongside rebounds that fail to sustain. True bottoms have formed only after prolonged SOPR weakness, repeated failed recoveries above 1, and broad loss realization. Current data fits this pattern. While price has rebounded, SOPR has yet to recover and hold above 1, and evidence of sustained spot-driven inflows remains limited. Bitcoin has finally seen a significant surge, with the price reaching the 76,000 mark. The bulls remain very strong. Can this upward trend continue? See the pre-market analysis below.

Looking at the four-hour chart, the price broke through three consecutive bullish candles and surpassed the upper Bollinger Band, indicating a strong upward move. The overall pre-market bias is upward. Today, the key focus is on yesterday's resistance level, 74,500, which is now the current support level. If the price breaks below and stabilizes below this level, it indicates a potential pullback. Conversely, if it retraces to the support level and holds, it suggests the bulls will continue their upward momentum.

The daily chart shows eight consecutive bullish candles, with the ninth candlestick also showing a bullish trend. Intraday, we need to see if the price can fall back into the Bollinger Bands. If not, it should continue to rise. The MACD indicator is also showing strengthening momentum. Therefore, intraday retracements to test resistance/support levels are likely. It is recommended to buy on dips to the 74,500-74,000 range, with a target of 78,000. The weekly chart shows resistance at 82,500. Whether the price can reach this level remains to be seen.
