At present, Iran is controlling the Strait of Hormuz, considering various options for allowing ships and cargo to pass through the narrow passageway. There is speculation that Iran may request the chinese yuan rather than dollars for certain oil transactions.This development has propelled Chinese analysts to weigh in on the downsides, urging caution in the process.“From a technical and institutional standpoint, this arrangement is very hard to enforce, particularly in verifying that transactions are truly settled in yuan.” Said Gong Jiong, a professor of economics at the University of International Business and Economics in BeijingAnother leading analyst told SCMP how this particular action can trigger a politicized dynamic, in which countries choosing to pay in yuan may have to suffer the wrath of the US and Israel.“This certainly supports yuan-denominated payments, but it is unlikely to be sustainable. Solana's network has never been stronger, the Solana team wrote: "Happy 6th birthday Solana fam. They said quit. The builders stayed. They said it's dead. The code persisted. They said move on. The network's never been stronger.Just one more hard quarter."

BitMine bought another 60,999 ETH worth nearly $140 million, lifting total holdings to 4,595,562 ETH valued at more than $10 billion today overall.

BitMine also has 3.04 million ETH staked, producing about $180 million in annual revenue as it turns accumulation into an income-generating strategy for shareholders.

BitMine Immersion Technologies is pushing deeper into Ethereum even as volatility keeps shaking the market, and the latest 60,999 ETH purchase shows the company is treating price weakness as an opening, not a warning. The newest acquisition, described as BitMine’s biggest of the year, was valued at nearly $140 million with ETH trading around $2,300. That buy lifts the company’s holdings to 4,595,562 ETH worth more than $10 billion, giving the NYSE-listed firm an even larger lead as what it calls the world’s biggest corporate holder of Ethereum. Scale makes the move difficult to ignore.
