The Bitcoin price has been trending sideways for a few weeks now, with no clear direction of where the digital asset might be headed next. During this time, there have been some buyers, but mostly, the demand has been overwhelmed by the supply. As the scramble continues to tell where the bottom might be, crypto analyst Crypto Patel has also thrown their hat in the ring, suggesting when might be the ideal time to get into Bitcoin for the most returns.

If Bitcoin Falls Below This Point, Its A Generational Opportunity
The analysis shared on the X (formerly Twitter) platform points to the Bitcoin price not actually hitting a bottom yet. After the recovery above $71,000, expectations were that the bear market was finally coming to an end. However, some, like Crypto Patel, see it going further down.

Instead of going up completely, the crypto analyst expects that the Bitcoin price will actually fall from any recovery. But instead of stopping at $60,000 like the previous declines, Patel predicts that Bitcoin will eventually break below the support that has been building up at $60,000.

The analysis points to an initial break into the $50,000 territory for a start. However, that is not the end, as breaking below $50,000 remains on the table. This would suggest an adherence to previous bear market cycles, where the Bitcoin price has fallen more than 60%.

Despite this being bearish, especially in the short term, the crypto analyst suggests that this might be a blessing in disguise. According to the post, if the BTC price were to break this low, then it would be the perfect time to buy. Due to this, the analyst calls it a “generational buying opportunity.”

Nevertheless, Crypto Patel continues to preach on the bullishness of Bitcoin, asking investors to “zoom out” instead of panicking. As the analyst explains, investors will only lose out if they allow emotions to actually dictate their actions from here.

According to his latest outlook, even a continuation along a projected downside path could present a generational accumulation opportunity rather than structural failure. The analyst insists that the core principle is that meaningful gains require enduring discomfort first.

Egrag has consistently framed XRP's current price action as a macro reset within a broader long-term expansion. In an earlier commentary, he maintained that the bullish structure and wave count are intact, identifying $0.85 as a wave two capitulation zone.

Under EGRAG's framework, wave three usually delivers the strongest advance. The analyst initially outlines expansion targets of $11 to $13, followed by $23 to $27 as a high-probability range, with $100 as a tail-risk outcome if liquidity conditions shift toward risk assets. EGRAG says 2026 is a volatility-driven year designed to shake out weak hands rather than invalidate the broader structure.

Vitalik Buterin is urging the Ethereum ecosystem to get bolder about what it builds on top of the chain—while drawing a hard line around the base layer’s core guarantees—arguing that a first-principles reset on applications, wallets, and even culture could be necessary for Ethereum’s next phase.

In a post on X, the Ethereum co-founder said “it’s healthy for us in the Ethereum world to have a more bold and open mindset,” especially on the application layer and “how we see ourselves in the world.” That openness, he argued, should not drift into ambiguity about what Ethereum’s L1 is supposed to protect.

“We should not compromise on core properties: censorship resistance, open source, privacy, security (CROPS),” Buterin wrote. “We should not have ‘open mindedness’ of the type that leaves people with no confidence of what security properties the L1 will still have one year from now.” He added that Ethereum should not backslide into questioning fundamentals like whether “light clients” should “trustlessly verify correctness of the chain.”

Where the rethink should happen, in his framing, is the interface between Ethereum and users: the application stack, its assumptions, and the social conventions that shape what builders consider “serious” work.

Ethereum AI Wallets, But With Guardrails
Buterin tied part of the shift to AI, floating a scenario where “wallets as browser extensions and mobile extensions are dead within a year?” On Farcaster, he made the point more directly: “Pretty obvious that the next iteration of wallets will heavily involve AI.”

Still, he stressed that higher-value usage can’t simply outsource trust to a model. “I would not trust an LLM with multi-million transactions or funds,” he wrote, describing what he sees as the “optimal workflow” for large transfers: “AI proposes a plan, local light client simulates it, you see the action and the simulated outcome and manually confirm it.”
