According to CryptoSlate's data, the world’s largest digital asset plummeted to a session low of $87,282 over the last 24 hours.

This downturn was not an isolated event but part of a broader, market-wide sell-off that inflicted heavy damage across the digital asset ecosystem. Major alternative cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, XRP, Cardano, and Solana, all posted significant losses, mirroring the leader's descent.

Meanwhile, the sharp reversal marks the culmination of a brutal two-day slide that has pushed the emerging industry back toward price levels last observed in late 2025 and shattered the bullish momentum that had characterized the opening weeks of the new year.

However, with the token now changing hands at $1.39, data suggests that $XRP may be “criminally undervalued” at the current price, amid a drop in its monthly RSI to 2022 lows.

$XRP has dropped 24% this year, losing more than $26 billion in market value as the ongoing downtrend drags on.

The downward push resulted in a 16% drop in February 2026, representing $XRP’s largest monthly decline in a year and the sixth consecutive monthly loss.

Despite a mild recovery effort in March 2026, with a 1.46% rise this month, $XRP’s technicals still look weak, as it trades for $1.39.

However, data shows that, at this price, $XRP’s monthly RSI has crashed below 45, indicating that the token remains highly undervalued.

The last time $XRP’s monthly RSI dropped to these lows was during the 2022 bear market, when the price crashed to the cycle bottom of $0.2910.

Dogecoin short sellers may have reported $0 in short positions because they were pressured to close their positions manually. That is, before it could hit liquidation levels, these traders closed, leading to losses in market fees, buys and slippage.

Dogecoin’s price performance in the last seven days provides insight into the zero-dollar liquidation. The king of meme coins had been on an upward climb, rising over 4.35% within the period. This positive sentiment may have led to fewer short bets.

However, following the market-wide pullback, $DOGE has slipped more than the broader crypto market. As of this writing, Dogecoin changed hands at $0.09429, which represents a 4.61% decline in the last 24 hours.

The price decline was triggered by rejection at $DOGE’s resistance level and amplified by Bitcoin’s slip. Despite this, volume remains up by 27.84% at $1.81 billion.

According to data from RWA.xyz, the total value of on-chain RWAs has surged to about $26.7 billion, up more than 309% from roughly $6.5 billion a year ago.

Institutional players are beginning to experiment with blockchain infrastructure for tokenized funds, credit markets, and traditional financial instruments. And when they choose where to build, Ethereum keeps coming out on top in that category.

Despite increasing competition from faster and cheaper networks like Solana, Ethereum still dominates the RWA ecosystem. The network currently controls more than 57% of the tokenized asset market and supports roughly 675 tokenization projects.

Reality check looms as risk assets face growing FUD

The divergence between positioning and the geopolitical backdrop is already hitting the U.S stock market.

From a technical standpoint, U.S equities have wiped out more than $2 trillion since the war kicked off. The S&P 500, for instance, closed the week down 0.61%, extending losses from the previous week’s 2.02% correction and marking the fourth consecutive lower low.

Consequently, with President Trump’s latest threat targeting Kharg Island, Monday could bring even more downside. The question now is – Will this spill over into crypto? So far, crypto has moved in the opposite direction, seeing roughly $150 billion in inflows. That said, the timing matters. Especially as market makers continue to debate whether Bitcoin has found its bottom or not



On one hand, Jurrien Timmer, Director of Global Macro Fidelity, sees a bottom near $60K. On the other hand, skeptics believe it’s too early to call a bottom in a bear phase. According to AMBCrypto, the divergence in positioning shows that crypto’s foundations remain volatile, keeping traders cautious despite the recent inflows.

Against this backdrop, the recent jump in Bitcoin’s funding rates hinted that positioning may be running ahead of reality on both the geopolitical and technical fronts, leaving the crypto market exposed to a sudden swing. Especially as other risk assets like U.S. equities remain vulnerable heading into Monday’s session.

If this pattern holds, a long squeeze could hit sentiment hard. Especially with the macro reality finally spilling over into crypto.

Ethereum Foundation sells 5,000 ether to Tom Lee's BitMine in $10.2 million deal

The Ethereum Foundation (EF) said it finalized the sale of 5,000 ether ($ETH) in an over-the-counter transaction with one of the top crypto treasury firm Bitmine Immersion Technologies.

The sale cleared at an average price of $2,042.96 per $ETH, the Foundation said, placing the transaction’s value at roughly $10.2 million.

The non-profit organization, established in 2014 to support the Ethereum blockchain and its ecosystem, said the funds will support its core operations, including protocol research and development, ecosystem growth, and community grants.

The transactions, it said, are in line with the policy that governs its reserve management. The framework aims to strike a balance between holding $ETH and maintaining sufficient fiat or fiat-like assets to cover operating costs. EF currently aims to keep annual operating expenses near 15% of treasury value with a 2.5-year operating buffer, a strategy that determines how often it sells $ETH.

The sale comes less than a month after the Ethereum Foundation began staking up to 70,000 $ETH to support its operations and deepen its role in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Bitmine, helmed by Fundstrat's Tom Lee, was the counterparty in the deal and is the largest publicly traded ether treasury firm, currently holding around 4.53 million $ETH, worth more than $9.4 billion.

The firm’s portfolio is almost entirely ether. The company also holds around 195 BTC and more than $1 billion in cash, along with equity stakes. These stakes also include a share of Beast Industries, the company behind YouTube creator MrBeast, after a $200 million investment in it, along with a 7% stake in the worldcoin treasury firm Eightco.
