As time passed, other traders started noticing the rising price of eggs and began jumping in to get a piece of the action. The demand grew, and the price soared.

The trader, growing more obsessed, continued buying eggs, thinking that the trend would continue indefinitely. But eventually, something happened, the market began to slow down.

Fewer buyers were willing to pay the inflated prices for eggs, and the trader was left holding a massive stock of eggs.

Desperate, he told his broker to sell all of them as quickly as possible.

The broker, confused, replied, "Who should I sell them to? You’re the Egg Man."
