В воскресенье золото торговалось около 4509 долларов за унцию и завершило неделю снижением примерно на 30-35 долларов, поскольку укрепление доллара и рост доходности казначейских облигаций сдерживали покупателей.

Публикация протоколов заседания FOMC от 21 мая подтвердила ожидания ФРС относительно более высоких цен в долгосрочной перспективе, продолжив падение золота на 16% с пика января 2026 года в 5589 долларов.

Центральные банки продолжают чистые покупки золота, сохраняя целевые показатели золота выше 5000 долларов к концу 2026 года, несмотря на краткосрочные препятствия.

Спотовая цена на золото открылась в период с 17 по 24 мая около отметки в 4540 долларов и большую часть недели колебалась между 4480 и 4566 долларами. Ежедневные колебания были резкими в обе стороны, в некоторых сессиях наблюдалось повышение на 25 долларов, а в других – снижение на 84 доллара. Металл несколько раз тестировал уровень около 4480 долларов, прежде чем восстановиться к закрытию недели.

Индекс доллара США на протяжении всего периода держался в диапазоне от 99,0 до 99,4, остановившись около 99,32 к 22 мая.
