What Is Solidus AI Tech (AITECH) Crypto?


Solidus AI Tech is a project that combines high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI) services and blockchain technology, anchored around its native utility token, AITECH. The token serves as the primary means of access for users to rent compute power, deploy AI models and participate in the ecosystem, with a built-in deflationary mechanics (i.e., a portion of tokens used in services are burned) to support scarcity and longer-term value. The infrastructure includes an eco-friendly HPC data centre in Europe and a marketplace for AI and compute services.


How Does Solidus AI Tech Work?


Solidus AI Tech works by providing a platform that lets organisations, developers and other users access compute-intensive resources (via its HPC data centre) and AI services (via an AI marketplace), using the AITECH token as the medium of exchange. When a service is purchased (for example renting GPU or licensing an AI model), the transaction is executed via the token and a fraction of the tokens used are burnt, reducing total supply, while other portions may be used for staking rewards or governance. In addition, developers can showcase AI solutions in the marketplace, users can pay with the token, and token-holders may stake and participate in governance (DAO) to influence ecosystem decisions.


History of Solidus AI Tech and AITECH Crypto


The origin of Solidus dates back to December 2017 when the company (then known as Solidus Technologies) was established as an Ethereum (ETH)-mining entity. As the team anticipated Ethereum’s move from proof-of-work (PoW) to proof-of-stake (PoS) and observed rising demand for AI and HPC, they pivoted the business toward building an eco-friendly HPC data centre in Europe and launching the Solidus AI Tech arm, with the AITECH token at its core. Since then the project has pursued development of its compute marketplace, AI marketplace, partnerships and token launch.


What Is AITECH Token Used for?


The AITECH token is used across the Solidus ecosystem for multiple purposes: to pay for compute resources via the compute marketplace, to license AI models and services in the AI marketplace, to participate in staking (earning rewards for locking tokens), and to engage in governance via the project’s DAO. Its deflationary model means that tokens used for services have a portion burned, helping to reduce supply over time. Furthermore, the token gives holders access to the launch-pad (“AITECH Pad”) for early-stage projects and other ecosystem utilities.
